I would not exaggerate the differences in sound. The HV 30 cuts the high frequencies, but are synonymous because the drive noise etwqas abgedämpf. Otherwise, the differences are marginal. Take the HV 30, while they still can be had cheap. The successor HV 40 is already here and will be sold much more expensive.

If you want a really good sound anyway nmuß rely on external recording.
I would be the better and the zoom lever slightly firmer finish on the HV30 a lot more valuable than the minimal difference in sound.
