Besides the SonyHDR-HC7E I synonymous the Canon HV20 in the shortlist for a considered purchase.
As you study the manuals I noticed that the focal / zoom possibly only on the two buttons on the lid of the LCD display to use? Can someone please confirm? If so should be a clear knock-out criterion, but because that would mean that it s.recht is unwieldy b) be impossible should the zoom during recording and sensitively stufenlos to change, right? c) the handling during the recording may be "Wackler leads (if they are not by the SteadyShot function offset
Maybe it is synonymous in much more dramatic than it is in practice?
From my two previous camcorders I know it so that the zoom on the right hand, which (if the cam is not on the tripod is located) and the Cam keeps stabilized, with the fingers can change.
Many greetings Jörg

The single-HV20 test after that I have read, the HV20 has very well have a zoom lever on top, and although "the worst from Canon zoom toggle in years. Again, we ask" why? "This is silly, Canon." (Citation www.camcorderinfo.com/content/ Canon -HV20-Camcorders-Review/Tour.htm).

So I come with the zoom lever problemlso deal I must say. On variable to do the different speeds well. Sure, a little feeling you need to bring, but that was my old Pansonic synonymous no different - the middle way of example to the far right is synonymous not too far.

Many thanks for the link and the report to zoom lever!
In one test I have read that the HV20 is not so good in the hand and would be the "belt" around the hand is made of a material, which is uncomfortable for prolonged shooting was. Have you made this experience synonymous?

Long have I not yet in hand, but I must admit that the strap must be optimized a bit, until it is correct.
Previously I had a small, lightweight Panasonic NV-GS 22, which weighs nothing and of course, is her handling of the very different (no thumb joystick for menu navigation), or DAS is first for me s.ungewohntesten. Let's see how it 'hours' use. Weight and handling is just totally different.
