Infoseite // Canon HV30 + Firewire 800 s.MBPro

Frage von Lukki:

Following problem:
My Camera is a Canon HV30, have already worked s.alten PC, Macbook Pro now for 2 days wg. more power, etc.
Did I say extra one FireWire 800 to 400 cable ordered, which arrived today, I actually thought it would be a 9-pin (800) on 4-pin (400), but was 9-pin (Male) / 6-pin ( jack) ..
So I've thought, I can 4/6polige the old cable as a purely plug and connected to Macbook?, It fits all synonymous, only the camera by the Mac will not recognize (not available in iMovie, not Firewire settings)

Has anyone any idea whether I should change anything (I think everything is set correctly) or a new cable I should buy (the new is perhaps too long with the other combination (a total of about 4 meters -.-)??)? ?

Here's a picture to illustrate

Antwort von Bidone:

I have the HV30 synonymous s.MBP by FW 800/400 cable. That works very well.
In FC you have to give in Easy Setup ÓÄ customize whether you are in HD or SD've recorded. Otherwise the camera is not recognized.
Recently, I had caught a synonymous dropouts. In FC had the folder to save films of the movement.
