Hi All,
I own a Canon HV30 and want to use these occasionally with one crane. It would obviously be very good if I could operate the zoom rocker from an external synonymous.
Are there ready to buy as what?
The included "remote control" since you can almost forget, since it from 3 feet away 1st very unreliable and 2 no variable zoom is possible.

Yes, there is. Take an optical fiber cable (Toslink cable) and mount it on the remote control and HV30. For details, there is in English HV20.com forum, where a synonymous a complete solution offers:

I can say from experience that it works perfectly and is suitable for everyday use. I use a tripod and a DIY version of the finished s.anderen of rkhanso :-)

Thanks for the tip! This helps me in any case have time to solve the "reliability problem".
So I can then, alas, still not zoom continuously, but somewhere you have to do then but probably sacrificing Consumercam ner.
