I'm just of a long holiday video back and had my HV30 with the ongoing problem that I reset it (a total of about 20 x) was because they simply "middle", or synonymous with the Commissioning s.einer location has hanged.
It is important to erkennnen that the display only the red recording dot or the green recording characters and nothing else next shows. Volume data and time + location are simply "forgotten" and no longer displayed. That pretty annoying, since one is forced back to the date and time reset after each new input, otherwise you will get cut later in the right problems.
Was synonymous with some of my old HV20 and have had just because of me important recordings to date and could not enter the intersection after the finished film and watch me while everything was seemingly fine. But when I tried the project on a DVD to burn, the calculator has a strange life of its own and developed the sound simply ausgeblendetete pieces again and lots of other faxes.
Someone still has problems with this kind of music in his HV20/30?

Thank you for your sympathy.
Today synonymous response of Canon that I had contacted in parallel and such cases are not supposed to know.
They hold a firmware update for unhelpful and I have recommended my check submitted.
Unfortunately I need the most urgently in 4 weeks and can not run the risk of him not to get back :-(.
Especially now that I finally set the manual sharpening of IRV design assistance from the United States have received.

Hello CJ,
use Sony Premium DV tapes.
With the more expensive Sony HDV tapes, I had only problems, such as drop outs, some of which were for several minutes.

I own a HV20 since over 1 year and an HV 30 for 6 months.
This problem I had with RESET really with two Kameras.Ich None of the cameras have never reset them.
I always had tapes of Panasonic (in very rare cases, I had times one or the other very short Dropout). Now, I had times synonymous for important recordings show the expensive Sony tapes gekauft.Ich can only confirm that the decision not good war.Bei 4 hours of recording at all, I had cassette 1-2 Dropouts.Übrigens on both Kameras.Zum luck was the show s .2 weekends so I could still filming.

have no problem with the tape!
The cartridges are not synonymous, the reason for my forced frequent resets. But since it was not a single case, and the trouble I have with my, now the "drowned", HV20 had, I asked in the forum here, after I had used the SuFu.
