Infoseite // Canon MV 450i DV cassette in ELP mode can not be transferred to PC

I use a Canon MV 450 i try in vain and DV cassettes, which are in ELP mode were recorded on my laptop to transfer.
For tapes in SP mode I have no problems. Who can please help.

ELP would I, as "Extra Long Play" interpret. Is that so? - What the manual says about this recording?

I can imagine that the ELP-mode DV is fair. In this case you could not tape over the Firewire capture, at least if the camcorder's not normal DV stream output.

Thanks for the reply. ELP is equal Extra Long Play. In my manual for your camcorder is unfortunately nothing about how I such tapes to the PC can get, so my question s.das forum. Schöne Grüsse. Rolf

This should be the explanation. Canon indicates that the ELP-mode triple-triple with longer duration higher data compression is achieved. I can already imagine that when capturing problems.
