Hello,
I have a similar problem as was discussed above schonmal:
Did the Cam for a few months not being used (properly before) and now comes in a recording mode, a completely black screen.
Sound is normally recorded.
Other cartridges are smoothly played.
Lens is synonymous ab ...
What could be the reason? Would be nice if I could help someone.

Put a link there and describe what you can exclude them and how have you found that you can exclude it.

Quite well, as mentioned already there: Go to www.canon.de, click on "Support", then "Hotline & Repair" and you're in "Help Desk" and the telephone hotline.
