Hi,
The small Concumer-Cam (Canon MV790) of my father in law is not working properly. When I insert a tape it will spit out the same again, the tray moves only one without a cartridge.
Since all repair centers charge fees even for the estimation of the cost, I wonder whether it's worth at all. What would cost probably comparable in ¬ 200-300, but I would probably buy more of a beginner in HD and for even more then you scroll down ¬ 400 +.
Tips? Thoughts? Experiences?

For consumer devices are not worth the repair of such parts.
Verhoek this camera on ebay and buy a new one - the MV-Series is not necessarily the flyer anyway.
