Canon MV850i vs. MV880X

Canon MV850i vs.. MV880X

Frage von Hannibal76:
Februar 2006

Hello dear Slashcam,

one can tell me whether it is worthwhile to MV880X prefer instead to resort to MV850i.
The 880X has a 1.33 mega pixel sensor and
the 850i one sensor 800,000 pixels.

1. What is the difference
2. Makes much difference from the pixels of video recordings (color, sharpness, etc.)?
3. Can I in the dark (in low light) with the 880X take better pictures than with the 850i.

It seems to me mainly on s.gute holiday movies and turning to the dark night in the room or can get it, some good shots. No Broken professional, but at least reasonably good. Mir is already clear that in the dark for no longer exists great shots with both cameras.
Thanks for your answers.

Hello Hannibal76,

zuallerserst first time an answer to your questions ...

1. What is the difference:

The differences lie mainly MV880X and MV850i digital s.den In and Analog inputs. The 880X does not have an AD converter, the 850i has. Can therefore analog "tape material" digitize. In addition, the 22x optical zoom in the 850i, when MV880X 14x. The synonymous Resolutionist a difference ... apropro equal to question 2

2. Makes much difference from the pixels of video recordings (color, sharpness, etc.)?

No, generally you hardly notice the image resolution, it is therefore of no importance now (in the case MV880X and MV850i) Even so it is always good to have a high Resolutionzu. Since, however, raises again the question of whether the sensor MV880X synonymous light sensitive enough ... etc. [resolution can be deceptive]

I 3.Kann in the dark (in low light) with the 880X take better pictures than with the 850i.

Since I have the MV850i himself, wants to sell but most likely uses, I tell you to do ANY GOOD Viedeoleuchte Cam with shots in the consumer area. The two canyons therefore synonymous. The roars Picture is blurry and looks horrible.

Exception here are the Sony models with an infrared lamp. But they are not decisive for the purchase of such a model, because the picture has a strong green cast, and the light a range of 3-has 5meter. If ansichtssache.

Conclusion: If you lot of value on high zoom, AD converter and Hobby lay-quality is to recommend the MV850i more than the MV880X.

MV880X is the most in the Resolutionbesser, but its CCD chip synonymous not look like much more than the MV850i, since it is very light-UN-sensitive (only difference is larger), more pixels. Ah, yes. The image stabilization of MV880X n 'bissl better than the MV850i.
Mark has once posted a rule of thumb, I find the link at the moment does not. In any case, states: The larger a chip is and the fewer pixels it has, the more lichempfindlicher he is. In addition, I've seen somewhere synonymous ne account. I'm really sorry that I will not link to give. The 1 / 6 "chips, 800 000 pixels (Canon MV850i) is more sensitive to light than the 1 / 4, 5" Chip 1 330 000 pixels (Canon MV880X).

Tendency -> Canon MV850i

Ultimately it is your decision, but I'm with my Canon MV850i been very happy in daylight with artificial light, in fact synonymous.

Well, I hope to have you with many subordinate clauses and complex structuring is not confused. Perhaps it has helped you in spite of the decision.
If you have more questions about the MV850i, they add quiet, would be glad to give you more information about them ...

Antwort von Hannibal76:

Hello Philip Cam,

erstmal thank you for your detailed reply.
Since I now tend to synonymous 850i.

I have just seen that in February, Canon introduces their new 900 series.
Now raises the question whether the "new" is better, which do not necessarily have to be the case. Price, it hardly makes a difference, the 850i is still some more expensive as the new 900 series.
What you rack up for you next?

Greeting Hannibal

Antwort von Froschkapitän:

Oh sorry,

one question I still managed to 850i.

Has the Cam one lens?
The 900s will have an automatic.

Sorry for the stupid questions, but I'm realtiv new in the area.

Thanks

Antwort von CamPhilipp:

Hello Hannibal76,

well, that comes with the 900 series for me personally, not even questioned. New is not the same even better.
I find that Canon has dropped the case MV900 in the time pressure on the market a cheaper model that can be clearly synonymous s.billigen processing equipment on the 900 series.
The 900 series of more minimal differs only on the 800 series, the 800 series is high (processing), well above the 900.

Like I said, I'm looking for a buyer for my extra MV850i (Canon Battery + Case + Mini DV tape). In which direction I tend I do not know yet. Perhaps Panasonic, maybe I remain synonymous with Canon. I have always had only positive experiences with Canon, therefore, of.

So what it comes at you with a camcorder because above all.
Then we could give you good tips synonymous. In what price range you look around you?

Am glad your part on other issues,

LG

Antwort von CamPhilipp:

've Completely missed the last question.

The Canon MV850i has no automatic lens cover, which has micht not particularly disturbed.
Bequemerm is, of course, but you can attach it s.der wrist strap.

0 Problemo,
