can someone please tell me whether the material if it is of the Canon, the computer goes over SDI 1440-1080 or 1920-1080?

The XLH1 gives out full HDTV from HD / SDI. 1920x1080
That is synonymous the advantage over other HDV camcorders!
Cheap HD solution.

The chip has the 1920x1080 resolution
The HD SDI output sends out already uncompressed.
You have to only be able to record.

So, unfortunately, nothing with "Full HD" is not synonymous output from the HDSDI.
