Infoseite // Canon XL2 pixel error

Frage von Trixi200:

Hello everybody!

I have the following problem:

When viewing my DV tapes recorded on my external s.Television MiniDV Recorder (SonyDV300), the picture at once so many pixel errors, which at fixed intervals (unfortunately quite often!) Occur. I can be ruled out of that s.Sonyliegt because he plays other MiniDVs easily. The picture itself has no Farbsprünge or glides in black and white, but as I said just jerky pixel errors. Especially strong are they, if I just with the camera direction and have the picture so moved.

The thing bothers me a lot, because I use the camera only recently bought used, but according to vendor "as new" means.

The pixel errors are only given when the DV tape is reproduced. Is the camera in Live mode and sends the picture directly s.Fernsehr and you look through the viewfinders are no errors to see.

Well, I hope that there is "only" slightly polluted video head is, must be cleaned and not the expensive CCDs. (Cleaning cartridge and I did not try, because it's head too much load).

I hope you can help me. Canon Service offers so synonymous as far as I know more intensive cleaning. (Cost?)

Many greetings,

Peter

Then game time with the tapes from the camera - what is it then? With DV, there are always problems when the tapes are not played there, where they record them.

Yes, I have before I had written here. The tape runs about the camera itself properly from.
But is angry that the recorder produces so many errors ...
When my band of XM1 and XM2 everything works wonderfully.

In any case, the problem lies not with the XL2, I am already calmed down.

Thank you!

(and I thought it would be the video head ...-.-)

Well, we hope's it! How about because if you
s.ein with the XL2 tape recorded in XM1 / 2, or play
b, a with XM1 / 2 recorded tape to play in the XL2?
If in both cases similar mistakes as in the DV recorder occur, I would suspect that the XL2 the track is adjusted. Then look into their own only the good shots, while those in other devices, tapes or other tapes in the XL2 but problems.

PS: A cleaning cartridge, I would still try. Properly applied, it provides no damage, and cleaning program for the professional service they should already be included.

First, many thanks for your quick answers!

Have the tapes in XM1 and XM2 played and luckily was able to detect any errors.

Other way around, if of XM1 and XM2 recorded tapes on the XL2 play, there is also no problem (pixel error).

To No sure, I have the tapes in addition to a small Panasonic Handcam tried and synonymous here, there was an error-free playback.

Perhaps the problem lies s.Ende but s.SonyRecorder DV300. Seems as tolerated Sonyand Canon is not * gg * ==> competition

My second guess would be that the signal processor of the Sony recorder for recording XL2 simply too weak / too slow (the Picture verpixelt primarily when a swing is performed). With XM1 and XM2 recorded tapes but strangely, he plays perfectly from.

A Comparison to SonyCam I have unfortunately not, because I do not have the MiniDV format.

This relationship is not new (see synonymous Sony Walkman).
