Hi dear Slashcam,
have a big problem with a Canon XM2.
While the camcorder on a tripod was positioned, the LCD display suddenly white. The Cam responded to commands, no more.
The Battery was then removed, new angeklemmt, now is the black display (LCD & Viewfinder), in the player mode are not synonymous Tapes played!
Except for a shallow red lights of the inspection lamp in "Camera" position of the camcorder is practically dead!
What could that be? Has anyone similar experiences?

... What could that be? ... How does the XM2 in the adapter powered? If everything works, would be "only" the Battery collapsed.

no difference to battery operation!
was synonymous already tested ... had forgotten to mention!
