Hello,
I have recently a problem with my Canon XL2.
The camera casts during my recording tape.
The display is then "remove the tape" and the tape is ejected.
I've tried to correct the error with Cleaning Tapes,
because I thought it may be due s.den video heads, but has not worked synonymous.
A loose connection, I finally made synonymous, synonymous because the error occurs when the camera is still on the table.
Perhaps someone has ne idea what could be the reason,
or how can I fix it?

I have this problem synonymous for some time. Synonymous'd be very interested to know whether there is a solution, perhaps, before I give the camera (for me, however, a Canon MVX2i) in customer service.

today had my XM2 with the same problem when Reparierer, the problem was the coil plate (???). Now it certainly works really well again and the cost was bearable - Typical: The warranty expired before 6 weeks ....
So rather annoying and not long in for repair!

how expensive it was to have been reperatur and it was a canon-contributors? gruss mj

The cost estimate was between 130 and 150 ¬, but because Kolanz wg. previous repairs paid less. Moreover, it was not the Canon Service.
