Infoseite // Canopus ADVC110 firewire issue

Frage von edewolff:

Hello,

I have a Canopus ADVC110 and the following problem.

The converter is recognized by the PC and displayed in Device Manager.

It is known as "AVC compliant DV tape device detected."

I can take synonymous VHS tapes.

The device initially works normally. Only after some time stops the recording with the message that no camera is connected. On the desktop, then I have the message that a new device is found, the camera so the Canopus ADVC110.

The whole synonymous only happens when the PC is going. The Canopus ADVC110 is eventually found again and again from Device Manager, then as if I would infect him again and again-and off.

Here is what I've already made.

Firewire Products perused and WinXPSP2 patch installed.

Firewire cables replaced.

Additional power supply s.Canopus ADVC110 connected (he prefers the current normally via the 6 pin Firewire)

OHCI FireWire drivers are installed.

Windows reinstallation.

There is a connection with one onboard Firewire 1394a, and two 1394b ports. If I want to use the 1394a port I have to switch to the Windows OHCI Drivers.

If I have the problem s.Canopus shine partially in the digital and the analog in the same light.

Hope it can give me a tip nen.

My advice: Uninstall SP2, when the patch is useless. This he does well in a minority of users.
