A hello to the round!
My problem is, I have been a short time a PD170 with (obviously) wide-angle converter. Now I have a few hours and filmed it in stages once the quality of a direct connection s.den Television and once via firewire into the video program tested.
In the case of direct connection s.den Television quality is impeccable, as it should be - more than I play, however, via Firewire to your PC, the Quailität not half as good as on the Television. The picture is grainier, something pixlig generally not a pretty picture. Everything is connected correctly (Firewire is synonymous idiot-proof).
My suspicion now is that when capturing something goes wrong. In the DV format is played.

Nope, it does not.
Brenne other times to sample a DVD with the video material and SCHAUS you like to s.TV. Should be as good as with a directly connected camera.
