Infoseite // Capturing DV

Frage von ftb:

Hi,
I want to capture more DV tapes.
Jatzt I can either the whole tape in one large file or write but every single clip in a separate file.
Some clips I would prefer because I can then read out with a tool the Creation and rename the clip accordingly. The administration makes on the hard drive much easier.
Are there good arguments for or against the idea to create individual clips?
Read somewhere that V16 has problems with MVDL too many clips in a Project.

g'd evening,

should not be a problem by "Scene detection to capture" ... Should I be synonymous made for years - but not with Magix:)

Therefore, I can not tell you if you get too many problems with MVDL clips ... would be quite curious and then more a case for the Sound * e;)

Antwort von ftb:

Hi Rush,
'll probably try it once with detection of the scene. Prior to the purchase of MVDL I actually read mostly good and now expect that the program keeps synonymous what it promises.
As a precaution, I will not even delete the tapes at once so that I might have to change the procedure.
Best wishes,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

DV tapes are now comparatively so cheap - I would not use it anyway for a second time ... at least not for "important" recordings.

The 2 ¬ for a fresh tape are then usually yes but somehow still in there and you always have the backup material;)

Now in memory age you have to make even more worried because if necessary, and synonymous Bluray / HDD etc. .. backuppen
