hello everybody,
I've recently completed a second hand sony hc23 I get and use the "pickture package" to the video on PC. I can not adjust resolution. 320x240 is the highest resolution of dcr-hc23? how can I change the settings so that I video with resolution of 640x480 it?

320x240 is the highest resolution of dcr-hc23? Fortunately, not only when you are in webcam quality via USB to try to play. The solution: Take Firewire.
how can I change the settings so that I video with resolution of 640x480 it? That would only VGA resolution, your camera delivers, but like any PAL camcorder even 720x576 pixels. This you get on the PC, once you via firewire and with any standard editing program transfer. iMovie (the Mac) or Windows Movie Maker are here for the entry is sufficient.
A tip yet: When the camera is new to you, it can certainly not synonymous harm, once the user through in peace.
