Infoseite // Card Reader for SD-HC / AVCHD ---> Mac

Mac

Frage von prysma:

I am looking for a card reader for my Mac, which is capable of with a Panasonic SD100 recorded movies (AVCHD) directly into iMovie 8 single (that is, as put the card in the Camera and in turn s.Mac).
Due to time constraints I am forced to short sequences with the Camera and then take the SD Card directly s.einen next to colleagues, who then viewed the films, while I have new clips movies.

Have some allegedly SDHC-compatible reader ausbprobiert and searched in many forums, but I have not found anything.

Or is there already "player" for these cards that can directly monitor s.einen depend, in order to view the films. Sonyand many other companies offer such pure play equipment for the professional cameras.

For a tip, I would be really grateful.

I do not really understand why this does not work.

SDHC card reader, card inside the editing program and the MTS Player File and select Import. Or the file prior to the MAC hard drive out and then import.

If the card does not read SDHC cards, or the card with the Mac can not, or if the software is no direct import function has MTS (only via USB with the camera is detected) then gehts halt not, otherwise there should be no problem.

This time I continuously with the RF 100, but with a PC and the Windoofplayer.

As already mentioned above:
I am looking for someone who has successfully passed the data via a PANASONIC SD100 SD Card on a SD card reader takes into iMovie - and directly, as if I had the camera itself s.Mac hang.

Maybe sign up only Mac users who know what I write.

Hello Jürgen,

the patent recipe you like, unfortunately I can not synonymous offer - just as much in advance: It works!

For pure curiosity I recently tried the AVCHD data for a SD9 into my FCP5 backup.

1. Card in USB card -> the "Apple Book" hard drive copied.
2. Import into Final Cut Pro, without success.
3. Import in iMovie08, was not synonymous.
4. Data of hard drive erased.
5. iMovie08 opened and re-connected card reader (or vice versa?), SD-card data was created as an event.

Perhaps it is really only on the order. A similar phenomenon reported HDV filmmakers at the Log and Capture in Final Cut Pro, if the camera will not be recognized.

Unfortunately, the attempt a few days ago and I have no way to reproduce the arrangement. AVCHD with iMovie08 is not my favorite combination. Do not hang your head - is already folded. So much test variations there's not.

Good luck wishes
Christoph

Hi Christoph,

that is at least sometimes a useful approach. As always synonymous with you it has gone - in any case, you're the owner of a (somewhat) functional SD card reader. And just after that I wanted.

If you now tell me what this part is and where it can get, I would be very grateful to you.
