Cheaper than Überspielgerät camcorder via firewire to PC?
Frage von psychopilot: März 2006
Hallo erstmal
Already a while and now I'll'd read by a question. Did not the desired via the search function somehow found :-)
So the following: I've recently bought a Canon XL2 and now you want to use but not necessarily transfer all the masses of DV tapes on your PC. Playing with the idea to buy me as a "Überspielgerät / DV recorder" the cheapest DV Cam with Firewire port.
My question: Play as the quality of a role? I mean the XM2 indeed makes very good pictures. Is there anything s.Qualität lost when I get these tapes for example with a Canon MV800 (with 800,000 pixel) or so on the PC dub?
I have about 3 months ago here in the forum, a Mini DV device to be installed in a PC search. What joy. Within a short time I have found such a device and installed. Cost SFR 400th - = 260 ¬ The device has DV out and DV in. Works fine
Such devices are made of Como and Fast.
Allso not give up and look next.
MfG Frywa.

Probably not. DV and HDV are different specifications.
