The question is perhaps how to bypass filters with? Even the Cokinfilter that I have for many years, show no scratches.

When your name is always a variation of it. ;-)

First, an adapter ring screwed on the camcorder. Then remove the filter holder and pushed. Again, the filter is square. An overview you will find hier.

I would have to be synonymous with the topic a few questions ...

I'm playing with the idea of me mat Box Z-360 for about 350 euros to buy. I have a SonyFX-1 and so far no experience with filters.

- A pole filter should be good! - Worth the investment?
- Do I need a UV or skylight filter? (Video Aktiv Digital and video are there in their articles relating to filter exactly disagree!)
- Weis of whether I use the Matte Box Z-360 directly s.die Camera can tinker? Or because I need more then an additional adapter ring?
- How is it with the size of the filter is regulated? what did of 4x4 and 4x6 read. Do I need then for a 16:9 picture, the 4x6 size?

Twice a clear Yes. Take but not linear but a circular, otherwise get autofocus and metering your camera problems.

"Jan MF" wrote: Do I need a UV or skylight filter?
For their original function to hold UV light (UV-filter) or a warmer picture hue to miss (Skylight filter) you need it today no longer, but as a lens in my opinion, they are important. A damaged filter is fast and cheap change to a damaged front lens does not.

That's why I always have a UV Schraubfilter it. Even with a simple helicopter landing, a stone hurled at the lens, or on a construction site burns a spark of an anti-caking grinder On. Everything had been. Then better for the 200 EUR Change Schraubfilter than EUR 1,500 (plus use of failure), the front lens.

It is one of the strengths of the Cokin system that s.Lenses fits with different diameters. So all you need in any case, an adapter ring for 72mm thread. In detail can you look at the Z360 incidentally here:

No, especially as a UV filter, a Einschraubfilter more useful than a Cokin filter system. The 200 is probably due to the fact that it was significantly larger in diameter. Your polarizer was synonymous quite a bargain!

I find no such statement, perhaps it was synonymous only $ 100, but I need 82mm. The 4x4-inch of Tiffen filters to insert into a compendium but are considerably more expensive.

Mag synonymous be because the demand for such sizes probably go back. I own a few weeks-67mm polarizer and searched almost all the camera shops in two cities which had between 70 and 90 euros. Only one dealer just made filter-Clearance ( "People get off on all small digital cameras around, because I put so much filter is no longer her") and its last-67mm polarizer for whole 9 Euro verscherbelt :-)))

Problem with me: I know only the prices from the professional field and are therefore sometimes answers, for others a little "oversized" could be. I just do not buy small cameras, small Tripods, small filter or small compendia. Have just seen that the really nice big Chrosziel compendiums are now over 2,000 EUR to add ... How good that even the best mine in order.

No, neither the system nor to the filter threads of the camera, the burden to bear. First is the Cokin system more robust than it might act like, on the other hand, a mat-Box (empty more than 300 grams heavy) synonymous with several filters it is still easier than, for example, a tele intent: the cameras, for the mat - box is for, have no problem.

That depends on what your camcorder (with the minimum focal length) and the filter holder (size) are combined. With a suitable filter holder, it is because there are no problems.

If in doubt, did you always have the distance selling act on your Page. ;-)

1. Read manual
2. Just set the white balance sensor cover and examine how the camera behaves
