Infoseite // Color and export from FCE ...

Frage von mcbird:

Maybe I'm too stupid, but ...

I want my HDV movie from FCE to maintain the average export corrected colors and stumble on the following problem ...

If I cut my film on "Export> Using QuickTime Conversion" as "HDV 1280x720"
Exporting from FCE would like, then the colors are much brighter and slack and thus effectively all much flatter.

Now I have read in the manual the following ...

If you use the command Export> Using QuickTime Conversion "use
Super white values in Y'CbCr video reduced. Do you want to reduce
avoid, you can use the command Export> QuickTime Movie "
use.

Well, I have the problem that I am now in the org. Colors have, but it all just goes without any additional options (such as the target resolution) and it is thus only the org. HDV 1920x1080 and the Resolutionexportiert still synonymous uncompressed.

How do I get it out so that I have a compressed Quicktime movie 720p with the org. Colors can export?

Thanks and regards,

Daniel

It counts only what you see on the final play media see. Is that so?

There are export as Quicktime movie and then you can simply sequence the settings there. That must give it.

PowerMac Hello,

in the sequence settings, I can not adjust resolution and compression not synonymous ...

So, I've played around a bit and understand the world more ...

If I use the 720p / H.264 Quicktime export via FCE play are all the colors as the cut set. However, when I Quicktime Pro Player suppose, then, everything is brighter and slack. And with the Real Player, I was then in the middle between the original and Quicktime Player.

Why, why, why? Anyone who does not ask remains stupid ...

Because of the QuickTime Player can handle with color (Color Sync). Unfortunately, Apple has built crap but the H.264 and some not comprehensible Profile gifts. Solution: Look at your H.264 file for example in mail. Seriously. Because there is Colorsync not evaluated.

Front Row fortunately seems synonymous Colorsync negligible :-)

This can be seen in the Quicktime settings off. So just a display problem.

I wanted this morning in Quicktime Pro the hook for "Final Cut Studio Farbkampatibilät activate Mode" (yesterday evening I sat in front of my Windows laptop) and what can I say - there is no forest, no trees and have not at such an option: -- (

Why? Because I only have FCE?

Only works as long as it's synonymous monitor gamma to 1.8 will have.

Am I the only one on the value of accurate color performancelegt?

Or did you all not the problem?

nee, because you're not the only one.
The problem I have exactly the same way but unfortunately no solution, because the hook at FCStudio Farbkompatibilität I have not synonymous or the item is not for me.

I think I've found a solution ...

I have the x264Encoder installed and this is obviously not a "Gamma" flag to the (erroneous) correction, so that all those colors when cut in accordance with FCE.

The part is open source and still beta, but I've had no problems.

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/X264

Excerpt from the Wiki:

"When H.264 Encoder works much more efficiently than x264 codecs, based on the ease of MPEG-4 ASP based (such as the DivX codec), or those coders who have the older MPEG-2-use practices. This means that x264 in Comparison with previous codecs for a given data rate for better picture quality
and delivers good quality at a greater compression achieved. x264 is based on the most complex and powerful profile, the high profiles of the H.264 standard (details in the corresponding article). x264 is also in a position to execute some calculations in parallel, so that Symmetric Multiprocessor systems can be optimally utilized. However, some features of the H.264 standard in the x264 codec (still) not implemented, such as the correction of the baseline profiles. Remember should be synonymous, that x264 how each H.264 codec, significantly computational intensive than the simpler, MPEG-4 ASP-based codecs. Thus the encoding requires more time and will play for the higher demands s.das system. The Play with processors at 800 MHz can therefore cause problems, especially if they do not have the SSE instruction set available. "

Try the encoder is synonymous times out and gives feedback.

Hmm ... I've not only in FCE this problem, but synonymous with the general export QuickTime Pro ..! I get (of others). Mov files, which were encoded with H.264 - lossless! Why do not we get out?

Therefore I remain at the moment DivX, which is the original FCE setting and only 80MB of 8 min film needed! Schaff with H.264, I do not ..!
