Infoseite // Color grading - brown faces

Frage von jwd96:

Hi,
recently there were here a discussion on the HDR video "actif-passif.
I'm not grading around the HDR effect, but the Color.

Now I noticed in the Making of the fact that in many film the skin of the cast looks very brown. As in the example below.

How can I get it now that the faces do not look like the raw footage is so red, but a brown hue obtained, as in the example?
And how do I get the background so green. It reminds me somehow always s.echten film.

The only thing I have to now get about, was the orange-blue look, but that's been synonymous.

Thanks in advance
Jonas

By you in the depths of the middle and take out the red and blue light bend away in the hills, both s.besten with a gamma curve, because at least you see what you're doing.

The faces are processed but also usually by selective color correction.

If you deal with Color dominates the ne task of not even one minute. In Photoshop you can simply the most significant basis of a curve layer.

Thanks,
I once tried a little bit, and it already looks pretty good. I have used the selective color correction synonymous.
