Hello, this must be your Receiver has two Scart inputs.
What's the point? When you turn on DVD, it automatically goes to the DVD player without having to umstöpseln anything.
If your Receiver has, you take a scart cable, it closes at s.Reciever, and ready! Then everything works automatically. will not do, try to without Receiver. Is that not synonymous, which is broken.
If your Receiver does not have, you make a scart adapter in between. There you will have another two (/ three / four /...) inputs and an output. Then you can select via switch, what signal you want to see on your TV. (Possibly even going to remotely control, but very expensive!)
