Infoseite // Correction of the HDC-SD300 Colors

Frage von Harald_123:

I'm here
I think that the color correction synonymous for the related TM300 and HS300 is applicable. What it looks like the TM350, I do not know.

Hello,

I have reclaimed my SD300 now, and it was posted. It may not be true that a ¬ 1,000 more expensive camcorder in automatic mode returns with AWB or iA mode to false colors. And it can not be true, that most of the shots will have to correct color s.PC time consuming. This ought to be the exception rather and not the rule.

I have the best results in manual mode with the white balance adjustment "covered" or "cloudy achieved" and that even in bright sunshine and blue skies. The setting sun "itself provided here a slight blue tint.

Let's see what brings the complaint.

"covered" or "cloudy" is no manual white balance, but a firm default. If your subject is in shadow, then the default is "cloudy" rather than the correct "Sun", although perhaps the sun is shining and the sky is blue. The key is the color temperature of light at the subject.

If AWB does not work or depend very much on the subject from itself. If a pure gray or white area in the motif is present, it is successful, if not the AWB is always a gamble. The camcorder needs to guess the color temperature.

If you want to avoid subsequent color correction, you take the real s.besten manual white balance.

Thank you, Meggs, for the instruction.

) I said, / but wrote of the manual "mode" (!) And not of the manual white balance (which I know is synonymous and synonymous which I use. But imagine this scenario: fine sand, clear blue sky, blue / turquoise water. And then there passes a sailing ship with white sails and hull. The stupid when Recording with my SD 300 is just that in full auto mode (!) And sail the boat but do not know is bluish and the sky is not really blue. The only way I get if I have the white balance (with the above conditions) to "cloud" in places. Even "Sun" provides the described effect, if not so much synonymous.

And to the setting "cloudy" (symbol cloud by making the SD 300) in the WB, I need to leave the automatic mode, the camcorder. So this is a manual adjustment for me.

The full-automatic mode (!) Supplied with my SD300 (only!) Bluish pictures. But as I once synonymous synonymous in certain situations quickly in full-auto mode (! Want to film), but this is useless for me. The same with the iA mode (!).

Of course, I have purchased the SD 300 because of the many manual controls. But I do not want to use a priority, but only in extreme lighting situations or when I have sufficient time to set the camcorder at the subject.

Then, Meggs, of course, I use the manual (?) White balance.
