Frage von roni:

Hello dear ones have, the following problem:
_________________________________________

- Crashes when I try to be incorporated into a new project (DV-PAL / standard / 48kHz) my mpg files from Premiere Pro. (always!)
__________________________________________

DATA:

- Computer: Dell Inspiron 9400 "
- Captured with: Plextor PX-M402U "of Hi8 camcorder using the supplied" InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2 "with the setting" mpeg1 / 2 ".
(The videos can be played without problems s.computer!)
(Hab - although the material on an external disk, but with files that I moved to the average computer, it did not synonymous funtzt.)

- Has the raw material ie MPG format
- AVI movies can be easily imported cut and. (=> Hardware and software are OK)

- Microsoft's update No. 886,716 is not synonymous helps.

HELP!
I have to create a DVD disc quickly and am at a loss. what may still lie? HOW to fix the problem? (and please advise me not, I will once again capture the full 39 hours raw material! that I hold not out!) - perhaps it helps to convert the material in any way? How? (loss as possible!)

Hi Roni,

first tip: If you return something you have to capture, at first only a tape and try to process the next file in accordance with your wishes. Then you would have been spared the 39 hours capturing with the Plextor ConvertX PX-M402U. The fact is not the right tool to digitize video recordings so that they can continue editing with Premiere directly.

If the existing video files should be definitely used for processing, you could either convert to a premiere of a supported format, could you an MPEG plug-in for Premiere grow or use a video editing software that can deal with MPEG files.

First of enlighten (eg with GSpot), in which the video compression format for recordings now available (MPEG1 or MPEG2) and whether it's DVD-Video compliant (ie 720 × 576 pixels, 25 fps is interlaced). Otherwise, would the 39 hours now for days and possibly weeks of capture Convert to what the gains with corresponding loss in quality. As would be re-capturing with a meaningful A / D converter, the better and quicker alternative.

Hi Markus,
Thanks for the answer. Your "first tip is of course useful. Clear. Depp, I had only previously not counted at all with problems, so I cheerfully captured erstmal hab. Nu isses happened.

Switch to another software, I would hate because I'm doing fine with Premiere. (but have other links are followed and wonder whether it makes sense, "Magix Video Deluxe 2005/2006", which I can use to get cheap to convert? the latest version of which would be too expensive, especially since I have so much for hard-and software And now I have lain virtually bankrupt.)

Have GSpot and get asked the following data:
video codec: MPEG-2 / fps: 25 / frame: 720x576 / audio codec: MPEG-1 layer 2
tional units that should not it?
- Synonymous the exact result you can see here:

Am indeed a little bit smarter, but my problem is still unsolved. What do you advise?
Best / fastest / easiest way?

Thank you + love greetings,

Yes, that's okay. How was the quality of digitalisation, you will see later s.Television. (Do not) be understood as a guest.

Since you did not mention the MPEG plugin for premiere, I'm assuming that no great additional investments will be made. Synonymous with, I do not know what this plugin actually does.

As far as I see it, you give the possible / probable path before: Magix Video Deluxe use to convert. Perhaps you watch this option again?

Markus! Many thanks for the love reply again!
right, I can not spend too much. The plug of MainConcept costs significantly in the triple digits. I can not do. (I'm with more recent stuff eh plunged into expenses, but my hergibt budget properly.)

As for 'Macix Video Deluxe' concerns, I still have the problem that the tips in this direction that I have read here, refer to the Latest version. But I can only get close s.The cheap version that will be offered in 2001, namely 2005/2006 - would attend but only reluctantly vsinstallieren And if I not even know if this functionality was already built there. Have you - or:

Has ANYONE HERE - experience this one?

... or fall into the category sowas simple: Try and watch when in doubt just doppeltsoDumm from washing as before?

[Oh, this damn technology! The last time I was cut to the year 1999. I had the pinnacle dc-10 and card premiere 4.2 and everything has gefunzt so beautiful! - Tja. what you realize that you're getting old ...]

TO VDL, which in principle can read MPEG2 Magix "always", but if you drew up of the software used a "normal MPEG2" I can not tell you, of course, synonymous, that is synonymous herewith, there could be problems.
Another possibility would be, you transformierst your files to DV-AVI, which probably every Schnittprg get along. Disadvantage: it takes, you lose some quality and you need "clean" space on the hard drive. Advantage: free. Recently it has repeatedly vowed to sowas SUPER (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html), but personally I would just like old times with Vdubmod (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdubmod/VirtualDubMod_1_5_10_1_All_inclusive.zip?download)
And make the Panasonic DV codec (http://users.tpg.com.au/mtam/install_panvfwdv.htm).

erstmal many thanks s.Markus and host for the 0815 tips.
I think the problem is now solved.
Since I wanted to install as not any Programs again, but seemed most viable to convert to AVI the way I did the following:

- My capture program (which I had with the 'Plextor ConvertX PX-M402U getting' together) was 'InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2'. Now I have me in it once looked to see if there may Of (from an export, not only for DVD but synonymous) as an AVI would be possible. And look - YES!

- You can now not make the whole cumbersome, huge raw material as to be looped through (and my hard drive several times) to clutter, I've been (erstmal trial with only one clip, but that was easy), the MPG then loaded into a project, right time a kind of rough cut of the clips made (ie with 'meat' of about 5 sec only the usable part rausgeschnitten) and the whole thing as new, namely, AVI (2)-exported file.

- These I have imported into Premiere (easily) and integrated into the timeline (easily). So I am assuming that the method works.

Now Get a couple of individual clips zusammenstöpseln in this way and import it into Premiere and then try on a trial basis, to work with. If you here nothing more of me hears,'s worked out and you can weitereempfehlen future version. If problems still occur, I leave it to you to know.

Again warmest thanks!

your
roni
