Infoseite // Create DVD with TMPGEnc DVD Author - sound asynchronously

Frage von Sebbo:

Whoo!
I hope you can help me ...

I am about to create a DVD with TMPGEnc.
As source files I have. Vob - files from an already created DVD folder taken. The Orignialdatei was an AVI ...

As always synonymous, the origin DVD runs fine, but then I wanted to make me even with TMPGEnc and Chapter menus.
So, video folder specified, chapter and create menus can be edited (with a lot of work) and then the whole. After some time, then came synonymous the desired result, but unfortunately the sound was, the longer the video is always running unsynchronized.
Only at the beginning (5 min), it is still absolutely lip sync, but then it starts slowly s.and towards the end of the film is the difference between Sound and Picture (Sound is ahead of the picture) very big (about 2-3 sec ).

Is there a way to correct this and if possible to correct synonymous so that the chapters and menus, I do not have to do again from scratch??

I know my way around these things is not really good, so it would be nice if you could help me. If I have forgotten ne important information, then tell me please:)

PS
These are the details that appear in the program over the video (when it weiterhilft you ;-))

MPEG-2 / 720x480 / 29.97 fps (4:3) NTSC
Dolby Digital / 48000 Hz Stereo / 192 kbps (monolingual)

Antwort von Sebbo:

so, problem is solved.

have the avi file again re-converted into a DVD. this time not with WinAVI Video Converter but with DivxToDVD.

The output files were virtually identical (except for the aspect ratio (4:3 in advance, with DivxToDVD 16:9))
TMPGEnc but probably only got to grips with this video.

::: The question remains, why do you make an NTSC DVD? Should she play in the U.S. or Japan?
