Hello Louise.
Yes, is possible. In After Effects with Mask> New Mask> Pen (checkbox "RotoBezier" enabled). You draw a path around the person, move the points frame by frame and each set a keyframe. Motion blur mend from you with Vector Paint. I came across it through this tutorial:

Do you but to focus that it is initially very frustrating and tedious. After all, if you are working accurately, and can keep the patience rewards you the result, as you with DV material through Keyen can never achieve clean waivers. A lot of "fun"!

Thank you, I'll just look at me once and then free the next day to get in for free ;-)

Maybe this is a case for a Differenzkeying,
Practice all the same image areas are removed.
This is the quick and dirty method
Ideally, if the environment would be deserted once filmed.

However, even small changes bring synonymous in the light conditions, no more good results.

Perhaps the Rotoskoping but the more professional way.
