For years I've been using Adobe Premiere (currently CS3) for my projects. So far, everything first class. Before, I had a Panasonic NV GS 200 and was standard-Pal synonymous always satisfied.
Since about 2008 I use the SonyHDR-HC9 and has since worked exclusively synonymous with HD material. Funzt with Adobe really quite good. The files have the extension. Mpeg (mpg2?)
Advantage s.der Camera, I pass movies in HD 1:1 to Adobe, do my work there as effects, transitions, pictures daily organizer and then give this via DV - In back s.die Camera. All without quality loss. I close the camera via HDMI s.einen HD-capable projector s.and the Ahhhh Ohhhh and were on my page. (Smile)
Since we're together now and want to buy a 2nd camera, we found that there is almost no new HD-DV camcorder with tape on the market. Too bad matrimonial. But we want to continue to work with tape, Dont stop running system!
Now we have the opportunity to get ran relatively cheap s.eine Sony HDR HC1. Although some 4 years old but still always top condition. I know, had this Camera "supposedly" no HDMI out but that we could live. My question would be for this, apart from a very low price of ¬ 400 accessories plus much,
If we move the purchase of this camera a step backward? Can accomplish today synonymous with the camera still works with HD-quality Premiere CS3? or is there possibly an alternative Camera? we would like .... at Sonybleiben

The HC1 is an earlier generation as the HC9.
She has NO HDMI.
So more of a step backwards.
Do take a used HC7 (HDMI) has.
Do you get on Ebay as the 400-450 ¬.
One is a technical and an HC7 HC9, ie since the cameras with her on an identical level.

Klaus I have bought used my HC7 in the bay.
Sure there is always a certain risk.

As for the picture quality, especially in lowlight, it would almost certainly be a small step backwards. Also, the HC1 only a digital image stabilization.
Nevertheless, the good old HC1 has its merits:
- Better manual controls (eg, zoom ring, exposure, etc.)
- Significantly higher resolution viewfinder
- Larger and heavier (I regard as an advantage ...)
So rather a step to Page ...
