Hi,
'm new here and have me yesterday for the holiday of a camcorder Sonygekauft. Now the Camera, I can not connect with the laptop because the laptop only has USB connections.
Is there a special cable or what should I have to buy?
As I lay on the field bin, I hope for your support

You have the necessary Firewire interface retrofit. So if it is a laptop you need a Firewire card to buy, in the card slot of the device fit with either PCMCIA or Express Card port, depending on the laptop.

Ok, after my research, the device has a PCMCIA interface. So you need a firewire card with a PCMCIA port. For example something like this:
