following: I DigibetaTapes and need the material as a DV AVI files. I s.der Digibeta machine RGB out and got input on my DV Cam recorder only Y / C. Can I somehow convert the material? Nor had the opportunity to copy the Digibetamaterial on BetaSP to DV Cam and then that would go, but that does not even too much is changed?
The Digibeta depends s.Avid, but do not know me like this, you can add as synonymous AVI DVs, or own only in the AVID format?

Whether you copying on YUV or Y / C, it is always an analog circuit. AnalogBeta as an intermediate in any case is analogous. Whether the resulting quality disadvantage is relevant, depends on your purpose of starting. At first glance you'll see s.Studiomonitor no difference.
All-digital dubbing of DigiBeta to DV is, to my knowledge, only if you as DVCPro recorder or similar device with digital input SDI use. Then the quality loss is limited to the inevitable, which hold obtained by the reduced color resolution and greater data-compression.
When s.Avid DigiBeta is connected and the same synonymous Avid can output directly to DV, it is obviously synonymous. Depends on the equipment.
