I want to build me a camera crane (for my 5D2). I have googled a lot, but nothing found reasonable. Either there were battens or at best from aluminum rails. I would like to build something a bit more professional look. The cranes from India to see (at least in the pictures) a bit of DIY, and the professional are too expensive (and see some of synonymous to Hardware ;-)) I would possibly synonymous parts utilization and / or to be milled.
I had the opportunity to film, unfortunately never with a crane, so I do not quite frankly, what is important. I can imagine that the storage of the turning points is important, so install bearings? Or is it too easy? I can not imagine synonymous that s.einer certain length, the oscillation of the arm to a problem, I see that right? I'd so 5m envisage ...
There is a telescoping flagpole on Ebay, I wonder if that is appropriate.
A remote head to me I think too complicated to build, only
