Infoseite // DV 72h record

Frage von voxey:

Hello,

I would like to 72 hours audio and video through a DV camera to record and, if possible, directly on a hard drive disk. Tips to Search & Reports.

Is there a recommended tool, which automatically reads data via FireWire and the video on a hard drive test? Is it something with a good standard PC or you need to specific hardware? In what format DV cameras typically the data? I suppose that such a tool in the video sound bite portitioniert stores - viell. with a few gigabytes per size. The video afterwards to encode / convert is not the problem, as long as the data after the record in a readable format is available.

Thank you in advance for all tips,
r.

Get exactly what you want. Can even after a disk is full on another continue to write. You can also tell him a new file after example after example, 1GB, or 30min.

72h à 11.25 Gb not forget;)

Experience Report ... Hehe this is a lot of lead time and testing needed. Since I do not expect that you have 800GB free space out of them, you have probably the thing during the recording and compressing as it would in the long run the problems begin with synchronous audio / video, due to high temperature systems etc. hanging USF ...
I believe you should have no preference as you do some recording (~ 10?) Hours test and especially on Synchronous AudioVideo sure exactly when Filesplit or change the hard drive (unless you can find the 72h recording at any time in front of start then goes on to try to study ;-)).
From the computer completely no preference should be what you take as long as he is strong enough (anything over 1GHz should have totally insufficient) and the motherboard / operating system ever so much hard recognizes ;-)
