 Urs Hello,
The Raperkarte man can not bring material analogous to the PC.
This is only possible with DV material,

Hello frywa
Points for you what are the composite and S-Video in and outputs on the card?
 Antwort von Jörg:

Hi,
The inputs are, how you been writing, S-VHS jacks, but you take on VHS! Look in the Canopus forum in the Raptor section!

 Here the author is wrong!
By Hosiden input capture can be very good.
Canopus is a tool specifically for disposal.

Hello Hannes
Now I am back s.Anfang. With the VHS and S-Video nor a shine to me. The tool of Canapus I have already, but just the video signal s.dem VHS recorder is only black and white and without sound on the PC.
Do I have the wrong cable?
 Antwort von Markus:

Hello,
a color video image is reproduced in black and white, if a (2-pole!) composite signal
 Cinch -Male) in einen (4-poligen!) Y/C-Input (
(Y / C = Male SVHS is fed
 Cinch -Male) in einen (4-poligen!) Y/C-Input (
times). If you want to capture VHS in color on your calculator, you need a composite video signal to a composite zuspielen input.

So, I now have an S-VHS VCR connected to borrow and Picture and Sound is everything OK
Now it's down to fine-tune. Videos will play on the PC with jerky.
Anyone who knows his way around with the settings in Media Scope of Canapus?
Hello Jürg, thank you for your tip.
 Antwort von leini:

Hello,
so very wrong, this was not "the DVRaptor" can not absorb analog video material. Although you can zuspielen a video signal, but there will always ibid jerk or liquid, and stamps will be great. The analog inputs of the Raptor is primarily to be looped through the overlay was intended. Until the penultimate driver version 2.11 does not even helped. It was only in V2.12 gabs a software overlay, because the calculator has been relatively fast (700Mhz). With the software overlay were synonymous then the analog inputs, and redundant, it was just created a tool with which to record "could. But only almost.
Under the Raptor line can not absorb analogue material.
"While you can capture to the Canopus DV codec, you will probably have dropped frames and poor quality."

Hello Leini
 Thank you for your comments.
I do not understand what brings a loop through the video signal, or has been, if the analog video material was available so e is not on the PC. Or am I understand what is wrong. Or what is meant with overlay? Or is a different codec helpful?
