Infoseite // DV to Mpeg2 convert - quality loss?

Frage von Cuberider:

Hello!

We want to provide us with a camcorder and growth, the Panasonic NV-GS280 or the SonySonyDCR-HC96E (DV) for Choice.

If I were now on the DV Calculator games have 60 minutes about 13 GB. To them on a DVD to get it so I must be in the Mpeg2 format. How high is because of this, please Qulitätsverlust?

Or is it more likely to recommend the film cut back to a DV to secure (in the Panasonic was only with the GS300, the same ¬ 100 times more expensive).

Or should you prefer a DL burner purchase of at least 9.6 GB can store, so the quality loss is not so high when converted into Mpeg2? Wober the blanks would be very expensive ...

Can someone please me as a tip to give.

Thanks and greetings, as Basti

You will be with a normal MPEG2 Decoder good to very good quality for people, if you test some things beach. In DV Capture, edit and output in the correct bit rate. Then, approximately 1.5 to 2 h in good quality possible. So always use a DV Camera / purchase.

I do it in the rest exactly synonymous with a 280er Panasonic.
