I now sit as low Thor and I have this forum too late found :-(
I am an absolute newbie and had me feel sorry for the ONE / leave-one seller, well I have perhaps synonymous himself helped ......
Also, I have here in the forum's purchasing help (unfortunately synonymous probably too late) and read the horror get cold ... Now is not the baby with the bathwater ... while I need your expert assistance at short notice ....

So I have since 4 days Canon DC 100th
1) I'm with the handling, the price, and with the consequential costs to the source material (as absolute beginners with no possibility of comparison) very satisfied.
2) So far I found the DVD technology well, after finalizing had good meals quickly and the material on the TV
.... but then it happened .... I wanted my wedding edit :-(((((
I have Adobe Prem. Elem. increased (it was quite favorable and the tests were synonymous ok. - ct eg 26/2006).
But oh Graus, maybe I thought wrong .... on the mini DVD are Vobs this copy of meantime I hand on the HDD of the PC'S ('ve found that it is better than directly from APE) and where is my scene detection? Embarrassed s.die rule kept shooting ... Langen no clips, so synonymous everything on the DVD to see .... but the convert Vob's all there is .....
Now I read here, just the DVD format is not so good is to post .....
My questions is:
Are there any programs (which are not> 100 euros) for the Vobs APE reappraise so that another scene there is chipping? So eg 50 MPEGs?
I was overlooked in APE?
OR ....
Should I set the camera for another model to replace?
I have been synonymous HDD technique recommended .... I was but too expensive ....
Once to illustrate:
Canon DC 100 = 350 euros Adobe, APE 3.0 = 100 euro ..... Mini DVD's times we neglect.

Camera should be favorable (be sure to do real 16:9) and easy to use (cheap but can exceed 350 euros .... yes it is still not synonymous). I take you for free with the children and the hobby Lenkmatten fly. If so, both for outdoor Starnd, nature indoors as synonymous suitable - typically Centerparcs dim lighting :-) wishes always like something to edit, but it will certainly never be operated professionally! That's probably about the best, but then take one of the best MiniDVs (synonymous to this is so much in the above papers). This format is still finishing the simplest.

I think / thought that is in the range 350 euro a not so bad camera, although I am only on the MVX 460 was inserted. Then came the professionally trained and introduced me to the future ..... :-(
And I will not synonymous, the camera away if I find a soft, from the neatly Vobs (without further loss of quality) individual scenes created.
Then I thought of feeling that might be Bearbeitungssoft ..... (could not guess that it is of MiniDV, but of a Cam Vob files not ....)
I am looking for much more (according to search and find many articles of) a competent contact person about the experience, I am synonymous in 3 months can not anlesen (and in stores is probably the most synonymous not always the case as I had to memorize).

so of course I'm looking for "now" a decision aid.

If times on the network by DVD2AVI search so you can at least look at Vobs AVI (until a better solution).

Only the dealer after a 1 / 2 year no longer so accommodating as after 7 days and if it only lasts six months, we know not.

MiniDVD either directly into the DVD player, or be otherwise only over several Programs cope bent.
I understand you correctly, that the DC 100 deserves to be kept until a new software is because it is priced a snapshot?

/ E So I see that have hitherto un s.Zeit much work purely in, we're not talking about Money.
I was with my miniDVD in which several people have Bearbeitungsprogs (and even longer to work but synonymous only as a hobby) and now knows with what Progs there are problems :-(
However, remains an open question for me and that's just my ignorance:
Are there any DVD camcorder, which I had the opportunity synonymous directly (via USB / Firewire) on the Cam access and thus the Vobs to bypass? The Grundprinzig the DVD Cam is good, it is now possible via this route s.die data to come (including Scene detection :-) I would like to spend the money.

Do this no personal experience, (MiniDV Firewire and it's tested) otherwise there are still several cameras AV output because then you have other problems.
USB is usually for the Photo function.
In short order you have to decide what you prefer.
If you've already Known Programs and cameras s.laufen you will have the decision is certainly not difficult.
I like myself the 20 minutes DVD synonymous quite well of the quality, but what help, if you later can not do anything with it.

The SD is for MiniDV camcorders are not compressed.

Jan This is a look a word perhaps times short concise questions:
1) Can Magix Video Deluxe 2007 with the bypass and the Vobs import a Scene detection perform?
2) Is there a DVD Cam max.700 in the euro area to where I am on cable or whatever s.die film clip on the Cam come (but should still synonymous true 16:9 can !!!!! (no preference Sony Or sonstwer ) I would like to have behind my Filmschnippsel I can handle and not the 1 GB in size !!!!.
3) You speak to the DC 10/20/40. What exactly this would be possible. Since the DC 40 is still available :-) Picture Should have a full stop, miniDVD, 16:9 and I want the "movie clips" can load!
Since the DC 20 is not available anymore, can the DC 21, the synonymous?

Addendum:
I've now decided (mainly thanks to this forum).
Since the article http://forum.slashcam.de/anleitung-zum-kauf-eines-camcordersnaturlich-fur-einsteiger-2-vt35586.html repeatedly Panas well have cut off and this is synonymous with my other test results collected uncovered, I have now exchanged the DC 100.
The dealer is very accommodating and has been after me listen more closely (which I want to do so), the Panasonic NV-GS 320 is offered (supposedly the successor to the 300). The can be anything I want and what was actually on offer.
I think it was a good decision alone when I've unpacked everything :-) (All cables in the process of shoe camera plug s.der Cam, Charger both alone as synonymous in the cam to load, detailed instruction manual, remote control, software, etc.
Was slightly different from the DC 100 (but synonymous with another price ).....
