Frage von LukasLukas:

Hello!

Project for a scientific film I want a DVD with a large number of video clips (about 500 clips with each creating about 1 minute). These video clips I want to do intuitable in several predetermined sequences (= sequences of clips). All clips are here occur in several different sequences.

Example:
I click on "Sequenz1" and it will play the clips 1,3,5,7 row.
I click on "sequence2" and it will play the clips 1,2,4,6 row.
I click on "Sequenz3" and it will play the clips 1,2,3,4,5 a row.
etc.

For space reasons, I can but unfortunately not all clips Zusammenschneiden save it as your own movies and. But I will save each clip only once and only program "paths" for the sequences.

Is this "Pfadlegen" technically possible?

Thank you!
LG, Luke

PS: If I have not been able to explain the problem clearly enough, please ask for:)

Antwort von Peter S.:

A playlist can, for example with Ulead DVD Workshop to be created. Whether the crowd of 500 video clips, no preference as long, yet fits into the DVD specification, I doubt that.

Hello Luke.
You probably do not even working with Mac, but maybe another good authoring program like Encore offers the option of a "story". The way this works is that all your clips are dragged into a track, but each with clearly identified chapter markers. At this track you can now create stories (=) play lists, in the (your clips in the respective order, therefore, the meticulous naming) are listed. The target tracks of your menu navigation are then no trace, but just the stories. Several tracks are also linkable, but then it comes when changing lanes at a speed camera during playback.
