Infoseite // DVD-Recorder/Videorecorder LG RC6500 copy protection on its own videos??

Frage von aschneid:

Hello,
I am a little desperate because I am trying since a week, my old VHS tapes (old live recordings of theatrical performances, television recordings of 15 years ago would burn, etc.) on DVD - has given me added to the LG - RC6500 risen since my s.Computer old VCR has produced such poor sound quality (with the habs Medion Home Cinema XL II, PowerDirector on the graphics card with Scart connection and the 3 RCA plugs black / red / yellow on a hard drive banned) --
And now comes at ALL VHS tapes, which I try to burn to the information "copy protection" - and the burning does not work. Recording from Television on DVD works without problems.
Could someone please give me a hint, if you can avoid the ominous copy somehow? (I can solder and screw synonymous.)
It is not really about buying tapes, but sometimes with a separate, age-old VHS camera recorded cases.
Thank you very much.

Hello, Andrea!
I would not for the soldering iron, but rely on the sales slip and return the recorder. This is clearly a failure of the device.

It's not a copy there, so you do not need to bypass the synonymous synonymous or you do not need tips like this to be done is. Good thing, because copy protection methods can since Sept. 2003 to be bypassed.

The signal between the VCR and DVD recorder seems to be wobbly and is misinterpreted as copy protection. This can s.der detection of the DVD recorder or lie s.der signal output of the VCR.

One can try to improve the signal / stabilize. Normally used for so-called Videoenhancer or TBCs (TBC = Timebase Corrector). The Videoenhancer can build yourself. Who can build the blueprints found on the web. TB is very difficult to build yourself, there is (to buy expensive! Announced on loan), or.

Higher-quality video devices often provide multiple signal sources (composite / composite typ on SCART, S-Video, RGB, YUV). You can find out whether one of these signals is not affected.

If I had the VCR recently bought specially for the purpose, I would now go to the device with cassette and Dealers and to show to describe the problem /. It is indeed possible that a defect (present => warranty). Or maybe I can exchange the unit or get a enhancer / TB loan.

Good luck
The fat Stefan

If the LG is new, I would try to 'nen Panasonic DVD recorder to replace - that are currently the best. If your old recorder is not completely senile, I would forego the VHS-/DVD-Kombi synonymous, and at best 'nen DVD recorder with hard drive use. Earnings s.Komfort by VHS-/DVD-Recorderkombis is already minimal ...

Although I have no Comparison to other manufacturers, but the good (recording) quality of the Panasonic DVD recorder can confirm I am.

Can look under "Product Support" in "operating instructions" for "RC6500": If there is either in German or English.
