Infoseite // DVD Studio Pro - Menu Cross Music

Frage von Shizzel:

Hello,

I do not get it out in DVD Studio sound accompaniment to program so that I even though I change the menu, the sound background not stop.

Say:

Menu 1 - Song: begin
Menu 2 - Song from Menu 1 plays without interruption next
Film 1 - Song stops audio files of the film can be heard.

Would be glad if someone can help me.

Thanks in advance

Because, unfortunately, will probably not worry. The DVD specification does not simply propose that two tracks independently run. Everything is played, must be synchronously in a stream verzwirbelt ( "muxed") to be.

In DSP, there is a workaround. The is that the main menu and submenu actually two video tracks in a multi-angle track (ie not be specified as a menu). There is only one audio track. Through DSP capability, functioning buttons in a normal track to set (which is the fourth track of the "Menu" stream, a subtitle track), you can button "Menu 2" for a second video track of the stream change without front of to begin. Theoretically.

Practically, there are two grounds on the matter to renounce:

1. The two buttons "menu" should not overlap, and the buttons of the "Menu 2" are synonymous in "Menu 1" active synonymous if they are not displayed. With scripting can while preventing the send button is not meant to be operated, but the Tüftelei and workload snd enormous, and:

2. On the Apple DVD Player works fine, even with mouseover, WinDVD and other Windows software players do sometimes with, but usually nothing happens. Standalone Player make a change in the angle more or less serious leap in Picture and / or sound, or simply show FILE ERROR.
