A friend has the photo dealer double-8-talkie on DVD dub (in very poor quality). For him, everything is OK. At the 2nd Friend gives the player no sound. The 3rd Known loads everything in his laptop and the sound is running. I have the files on plays on my computer and get no sound synonymous. The dubbed Files are *. bub, *. ifo and *. vob. What's going on? What can I do? Francis

What software is to play the DVD files? My guess: the sound was not as PCM but as AC3 or DTS encoded and missing you the appropriate codec.

Get the tool "GSpot" (http://gspot.headbands.com/) and open so that for example the "VTS_01_1.VOB" and look at "Audio" under the "Code", which for a sound there is.
