erstmal sorry that I can muster for the umpteenth time this subject, but None of the other posts could help me, really, since everyone seems to have very specific problems. So here's my concern:
I have several hours Videoaufnehmen on VHS, Hi8 and 8mm, which I would like to receive further treatment in some form on the calculator. This I have partial views taken with different video editing programs on my calculator, but unfortunately with only limited success! Either the picture quality was good, but jerky around the Picture, or stop the other way!
Since it is in your sporting shooting footage, I would like an Ultra-smooth and sharp as Picture It!
So, first erstmal is quite possible that this is now slightly outdated s.meinem Calculator. My real concerns are now DV converter, which convert the entire alleged s.Computer DV quality for further editing! Is the acquisition of such equipment mandatory, and if so, then he brought me the desired success in the form of a fluent and high resolution image (as well as Hi8 stop is ...)??? Are there any other alternatives, except that I have to upgrade my PC to high-tech machine?
How can probably detect, I am very illiterate in the area, and am therefore of any help and suggestion very grateful! Thanks in advance.

Without question: Yes. Look FireWire FAQ">to join in my post FireWire FAQ">camcorder / recorder s.PC, capture images and edit> "3 If the setter is the same" or "4 special Video8 / Hi8. With the Canopus converters, I am so far fared well (it had itself) in use.
And another thing: do not judge the image quality s.PC monitor. Has a different Resolutionals the television, provides video images is different (progressive, not interlaced) and operates in a different color space (RGB, YUV not).
BTW: What do you mean, your calculator is out of date? A certain performance must already have a computer to edit video recordings to. Last but not least you need a good amount of disk space (about 13 GB per hour DV AVI).
And finally: Let's not tell you, an A / D converter to shut it via USB. In the video section Firewire is the measure of things. ;-)
