Infoseite // Digitization with Sony Hi8 recorder and Pinnacle Studio 11

Frage von K. Hauser:

Dear forums members,
I have read here in the forum that the Sony recorder EV-S9000E s.and to produce dropouts. These dropouts lead in Studio 11 on the recording each time the interrupt is not synonymous and again.
Probably recognize the capture card as a video at the end. I have therefore, in Studio 11 the function: "to stop recording when video is finished," disabled. Nevertheless, Studio 11 will switch from the sound recording.

The second question is, since it is by dropouts to a soundtrack can be asynchronous, if you post them again in Studio 11 can synchronize.

Thanks in advance

Then is not on the (analog) playback device, but s.der Analog-digital conversion. What exactly is (D) a "capture card"?

Antwort von Beethoven69:

The DC10 is the sound on the sound card, since there are always problems, so synonymous is recommended only short pieces incorporated.

Okay, if it really s.der and DC10 is no feasible solution with this hardware is found, could possibly have the loan of a modern A / D converter in question.
