EOS 500 D appropriate for a normal camcorder videos?

halöchen, my friend wants to buy a eos 500 d because the vendor said at the saturn would be great for filmaufnahmen.ich'm not since so sicher.er want to move shortly and art films in which I think that one needs a good swivel function so good handling and then I'm not sure if the zoom liquid synonymous ist.and you can really only take half an std? "I find this all ganzschön expensive when one gets only 2 functions in one, the mature properly sind.was you think ? and what would be an alternative to much meaning to the same approximate price and good Quallität? answer many thanks for all coming! nice Greetings melu

The recording time all depends on the size of the memory card, because you do not worry about. When pan is completely no preference which sits on the Camera Tripod. Wss your friend must be clear is this: The control units are really only use when shooting halfway!

The 500D uses - like any other camera of its kind - camera lenses, and are not intended to zoom during recording. Okay, that one should do anyway only rarely, but sometimes it's interesting. Whether and how since hinbekommt a fluid zooming depends on the specific lens and the skillful hands of the cameraman off. Ideal is certainly something different and much better control the camcorder.

The recording times s.Stück are other limits than camcorders, in fact, but that I would not regard this case as an absolute knock-out criterion of scenes, more than 30 minutes without a break in the practice of amateur film maker before but probably rather rare. Before you purchase you should consider but in peace, whether a DSLR, which is now designed principally times for photos, your video needs will ever meet. And if you are convinced that it exploits the advantages and the disadvantages can live with, then at least take the EOS 550D: In matters of video compared to the 500D has the nose ahead.

The best camcorder whose material trying to cut in footage DSLR-shits, from horrible. Provided you observe the many problems that brings with DSLR itself.
