I just want to update my EX1 firmware in good faith of 1:05 to 1:20, finally has a Do It Yourself Sonyerstmals update officially released yet and that must have tested well? I thought. The instructions I have strictly followed, but the EX1 was then dead
After an odyssey between Sony Prime Support, Austria Sony and Sony Japan, I now have an estimate for the repair: 2082 EUR (two thousand eighty-two).
Has anyone made a similar experience here. Good Tips? Good contacts with Sony? Fair trading solutions known?

1st Never change a running system
2nd Sonyhat with great probability NEN disclaimer for their firmware update or append? If so you'll get answers to the question itself. Grumbling and griping could still help.
From my own experience I can say that it makes no sense, s.mehrere agencies to address simultaneously - turn away and look s.SonyDeutschland that you will find a contact person with whom you stay. Later, you can still swirling in other posts ...

As far as I would invest at least not and I can not imagine that it was s.Update, or will cost the wrong install an update so much money!
