Infoseite // Edius5 + 7d, Workflow

Frage von ennui:

Work with Edius 5:12 and it can not play movs of 7d liquid, even without the effects, the red render bar above. I now come out that one of the movs'm in the window can already convert (Canopus HQ). So I can cut smoothly. But this is not a de / compression too much? Turn on average at least one color correction, tw. synonymous with other things on it.

- If one of several effects such wg. summarized combined compression / is, or for each new Effect compr. / decompressed with quality loss? When will we see the?

- What is the best target format / settings for that? Being considered would Bluray or HD movie player.

-Is it true that the Edius 5.5 update is free and 7d-processed liquid and movs virgin?

The update allows a fluid play, but as smooth as with the native HQ codec is not cut yet. If you for example when cutting a lot of one frame forward and backward switch over, with different speeds forward and rewind, etc. is the detour via the HQ codec synonymous still the first choice.
