Hello,
I brought 8 mm video cassette with the program Ulead 10 on the calculator and can edit these files, of course, synonymous inside of Ulead.
Now I have but I decided to watch it with Pinnacle Studio Plus 9.5 build, or about 10.0. But when I try to open these files, I get the following notice:
The video file xxxxx.avi could not be opened.
Hmm, I am perplexed and wonder how it can achieve with Pinnacle to edit the material?

Avi format as what is the material to the front? As a DV avi? If so, it could s.etwaigen differences in the types are avi (type1, type2, and AVI1 and AVI2).
Renewed would probably capture as the easiest option to get around this.

Well, the Pinnacle software is so synonymous via firewire capture - so I could capture the material is always worth it to try, then the software should be able to process the clips synonymous. Can not you just do that again?
The vermutlch difficult way would be to find out who, what s.den existing DV-avi files do not like the studio software. And then convert the files to.
But right on time that you do not come from bad to worse. The Studio software is probably not until the very last versions of semi-reliable versions of 9x would be with my fingers.

Jo, I can dig further on the calculator. but it still costs quite a lot of time because I did not tape the whole but only what I want to use dubbing. And there are 5 tapes a 90 minutes.
Pinnacle 10 Platinum Edition is available in the absolutely latest version including updates.

Well if you'd be synonymous with any software conversion - you would have time to find out whether it does a Type1 to Type2 Conversion, or if there was synonymous AVI1 and AVI2 play a role. And then the conversion is still a crazed effort, since one would need the software can convert a batch.
Alternatively, you could use for capturing still synonymous tools such as AV or Cutty Scenalyzer-live testing. AV Cutty is freeware - synonymous if Andrew is happy about a donation. And that allows a quick scene separation and sorting.
