Hello,
I would like to brighten up a clip, only the left half, somebody has an idea how to do it? In Photoshop, I use a gradient mask to keep hoping, and that someone knows a similar path for AE.

You say it. A gradient mask. Some threads (threads) does not deserve the name.

Can simply synonymous same clip on two superimposed traces of place, then the upper one with pruning-effect trim on one side and into the desired brightness. If possible, when you can crop or a soft edge to define in order to soften the transition.
This, however, is synonymous in almost any NLE. That you do not need AE.
