Aufbau einer DV-Kassette

Establishment of a DV Tape

Frage von ronnyk:
Juni 2005

Hi All,

I have been looking for a few days a report on the technical development of a DV tape. About floppy disks on a PC, there are indeed synonymous sowas ...

Saved with Magetköpfen that lie on the magnetic disc ...

Why, for example, the metal contacts on the back page of the band? (4-pieces)

Save the Cam as a VHS recorder to the tape with magnetic heads or the process works differently?

If the standardized track on the magnetic tape or wiso, there are incidents when you play the tape with other ner Cam?

Questions, questions.

For answers I should be very grateful!

These are contacts for exchange of data between tape and disk. Some (not all) DV tapes) have built-in chips for storing various information (including name of the tape, index, title, date of recording.

The physical process is the same, but are not written to analog signals like VHS, but digital data on the DV tape.

The DV format is standardized. Interference can particularly occur if tapes are recorded in long play. The LP mode is not standardized and therefore that is not very compatible with other DV devices.

Thanks for the detailed answer!

I have already speculated, that is to hire brought about the 4 contacts, the signal on the tape. Now the light is in the dark!

(The tape has been synonymous with the errors recorded in SP mode, and still been playing with bugs.)

Thanks again!

What were the errors and how often they occur?

Antwort von GhostDog:

The error consisted of short Pfeiigeräuschen and were about 5 times in a minute short beep on ().

Still other ne Kuze question about other things:

Can I include in my Panasonic GS-250 DVCPRO cassettes or needed then a designed cKamera? Panasonic will verteiben this standard, yes. on the page but I find no such camera. My consideration is whether a mini-DV Camera with a high resolution synonymous with superior quality to save on DVCPRO cassettes can.

DV is only a consumer format, so it can happen. Such disorders are but fortunately relatively rare. In the ideal case, the camcorder gives the tapes again, has recorded them.

It is not possible, with a DV-camera to record DVCPRO tapes. DV (consumer) and DVCPRO (Professionel) are two completely different digital video systems.

Thank you for your quick help!

Do you still synonymous ne answer to my question with the video light?
