Infoseite // Export functions for MPEG Streamclip

Frage von raffnixpert:

I would like to perform for my shots the following tasks:

Task 1
Movies I with my satellite receiver TECHNISAT HD S2 have included recode, so I can watch it on my SAT synonymous Receiver Topfield PVR s.Fernsehgerät 5000 and that I can recode synonymous vice versa Topfield recordings for technisat;

Task 2
mov files that I recorded with my digital camera, on my TV-HD-S2 Receiver TechniSat Topfield PVR and play s.Fernsehgerät 5000

Task 3
In both tasks, I would first perform a color if possible optimization.

Of all the Progs, I have tried so far, seems what I need MPEG Streamclip s.geeignetsten, at least as far as freeware or low cost software. MPEG Streamclip has the menu item "Convert to TS REC ..." and "Convert to TS with MP2 audio ...". So I can get the job done right one.

But as for task 2, so are the menu items out, with the "Convert" to start, grayed out, only the export sub-points are possible. In the export sub-menus can be synonymous to perform the correction Color. Only I'm a bit helpless. Since data formats appear as ts, rec or mpeg-2, with which I could do something at all.

No matter what I attempt Export functions have been employed with the, I get Noder 3 tasks designed so that a movie with Image and Sound get an out. It is always missing one or the other.

I have the following questions:

Question 1
What does Convert and what export from MPEG Streamclip? Why this distinction has been made possible and why not synonymous with the Convert menu items, color matching as in the Export menu items?

Question 2
What settings should I make with export capabilities to tasks 1 and 2 image (and sound) to carry with; do?

Please help!
Now I have to bring this thread yet again to the top. I was hoping for such a specialized body of much-needed answers. Can I say no one here, what can one start with the export function of MPEG Streamclip if the mov files from the digital camera in the output format ts and mpeg-2 for a technist DIGIT (HD S2) and rec for a Topfield PVR would like to convert?

This is not a satellite but nunmal'Fachgremium '. The of the various satellite receivers are all expected format hochproprietär. The basis is, almost everywhere a DVB transport stream, but not guaranteed to be played on any platform that supports DVB-TS.

You prefer to purchase a cheap media player, so this will go easier.

You'll get more answers in the many forums on satellite.

About the compatibility with your players, I can not tell you anything. The export functions affect all files that are readable of Quick Time (QT MpegStreamclip builds on). These are all the codecs that come with the normal Quick Time and also the one that was later installed as components such as: DivX, WMV, - ähhm: Mpeg2 ;-))), - DNxHD, ProRes. You can make changes in the export dialog here before you export. If you have the QT component but then goes again Convert to ...).

With Convert to ... leaves you Quicktime. A transport stream is no longer as of QT readable. On a Mac (where MSC is used as a media converter often) you can mts file only with external software (eg VLC) to open one, not even with MSC yourself why this conversion option is still so popular? Because they share files without QT allows cross-platform and because the conversion is lossless (in Comparison to the original QT, of course).
