Infoseite // Exporting Final Cut Express

Frage von sports4live:

Hello

Since the videos I've rotated snowboarding, I wanted these videos to a colleague on the memory stick copy.

I work with the Final Cut Express. I click on one of the videos in the Bin. Here I select Options and "Show in Finder". As soon as I want the file before me, I did copy them to the stick.

My problem is that these gentlemen are not in their videos (Mac or PC) can open.

Can I somehow export the videos or do I need it the first time all rendering and conventional?

Thank you for your help ...

Yes clear. You hate them safely in a CoDec, which specifically FCE it. And a general rule anyway: Specific Mac to PC idiocy funzt not. ProRes Except there is no single FCE / Final Cut Pro codec for PC, and of course can only play but not encode. So everything after the first H.264 or export or just equal to 'ne make draus DVD ...

Antwort von Alan Smithee:

If you have HDV - video in FCE capture, then the material is in the Apple Intermediate Codec converts. (Goes with HDV in FCE no different.)
To the movies to your Nicht-FCE/Final Cut Pro User colleagues to do the films you have to export. This goes with "File> Export> QuickTime Conversion ... use." Then choose from a codec that your colleagues are synonymous.
"File-> Export QuickTime Movie" You can only use if you have a DVD with iDVD, create wish.
