Hello!
I have repetitive tasks in After Effects. Unfortunately, there are no macros in AE, but you can create scripts. It give it virtually no information to program these on the web. I think I need only one entry. To my question: How can I access a mask in AE via a script. Is that possible?

Yes you can.
Well you sure would like to know how, well if you have the Extended s.laufern Toolkit, you can access to receive help in the manual. There it has a nice overview of the object model. If you have general questions about programming, simply go to a Java script page, where you will be helped.
